Intern - EU Funding Monitoring/Public Funding Development

European House Initiative aim is to create the conditions for economic growth and opportunities by promoting education, innovation, entrepreneurship and competitiveness, through Funded European Commission Programs and International Strategic Partnerships.

With this focus, along with the highest standards of academic support and corporate social awareness programs, EHI intends to offer financially sustainable and environmentally friendly projects to promote economic development in and around Europe.

Activities:

ERASMUS + international EU projects partnerships

European Commission Funding Proposal Writing

Provide support and access to the European Commission funding programs by offering professional service and expertise.

Identifying the relevant funds for your project

Building the project partnership

Writing the project proposal

Negotiating the contract with the funding authority

Managing the project and coordinating the partnership

Communicating and disseminating the projects results

PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring the latest developments on EU Funding programmes, including the publication of calls for proposals, preparation of future funding programmes and relevant policy developments;
Supporting the drafting of advocacy papers with specific research tasks;
Developing marketing materials, such as presentations and brochures;
Contacting potential new clients by phone and arranging meetings with them; planning and scheduling business trips for our consultants;
Conducting research tasks on innovative technologies to prepare the submission of grant applications and other deliverables for clients;
Contacting leading universities and research institutes to support the setup of successful consortia for research projects;
Conducting routine tasks, such as updating our funding database or preparing our newsletter.

INTERN REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor or Master degree in European Studies, Public Policy, Law, Business Management or similar;

Fluency in English is a must;

Good communication skills;

A “hands on” attitude coupled with a creative mindset.
